True to Porsche tradition, “T” stands for “Touring” and is synonymous with driving pleasure in its purest form. The 718 T models are no exception and will be most at home on winding country roads, offering the joy of dynamic driving as its ultimate goal.
Porsche has skillfully embodied the puristic design of the 1968 911 T, in both the 718 T Boxster and Cayman models, and has blended the power of a 220 kW (300 PS) turbo four-cylinder flat engine with an emotional Porsche driving experience. Accelerating from zero to 100 km/h in 5.1 (4.7) seconds and with a top speed of 275 km/h*, they offer the ultimate package.
The high-performance character of the T models is emphasised by an extensive equipment package, which includes 20-inch alloy wheels, the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sports chassis lowered by 20 millimetres – offered in combination with the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine for the first time in this range.
From the exterior, the side profile of the 718 T models are sleek, dominant, and highlight their mid-engine layout. Moving forward, the powerful form typical of 718 models is clear to see. Inside, the Sport Chrono package, within easy reach of the GT Sport steering wheel, offers Normal, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual driving modes for optimum driving performance in any situation.
